History

Roots in industry – grown with innovation

Since 1995, the Einsiedeln site has been an integral part of the STEINEL Group's success story. What once began as a production facility for sensors and hot air blowers has developed over the years into a versatile centre of excellence.

In the 2000s, capacities were expanded and STEINEL Solutions established itself as a reliable manufacturing service provider for external customers. The next step in the company's development followed in the 2010s with the entry into product development and system responsibility for OEM customers: from contract manufacturer to technology partner for international brands.

Today, this path forms the basis for consistent further development – towards becoming an Alpine Innovation Hub.

Customers benefit from close integration between development and production at European locations and from a strong team with extensive experience and innovative spirit.

The Einsiedeln site is a central pillar of this: this is where forward-looking solutions for the connected world of tomorrow are created – "Made in Europe".

With the planned new building on Sandplatz in Einsiedeln, STEINEL Solutions is realising its vision of an Alpine Innovation Hub. The new building will be much more than just a modern workplace. It will become a platform for co-creation, technology development and shaping the future.

The new building will combine development, production and meeting places under one roof. Modern working environments, smart infrastructure, sustainable materials and digital networking will create the ideal conditions for creativity, exchange and growth.

Completion is scheduled for the first half of 2027, but the future is already beginning today.
