1995: The STEINEL Group takes over the plant in Einsiedeln from Landis & Gyr and integrates the newly founded STEINEL Solutions as a manufacturing site into its international network. The focus is on the production of sensors and hot air blowers for internal use.
2000s: Capacities are expanded and STEINEL Solutions starts to work for external customers as a contract manufacturer. In addition to electronics production, mechanics, plastics processing and assembly are added.
2010s: The company continues to grow and increasingly takes on product development for OEM customers. By integrating STEINEL technologies into customer-specific products, the company has successfully made the leap from being a pure contract manufacturer to a provider of system solutions for world-famous brands.
Today: STEINEL Solutions is a one-stop shop for product development, industrialisation and manufacturing with extensive expertise in sensor technology, communication technologies and IoT solutions. Customers benefit from a pan-European development and manufacturing network with high quality "Made in Europe".
