Intelligent lighting solution for office building

The sensors of the NET product family are successfully used for the SOLOBLU® Fusion IoT platform from SOLO Greentec GmbH. Our customer uses the SENSOTEC hardware and has implemented its own software that provides a user-friendly web or mobile application.

With SOLOBLU®, SOLO Greentec has developed an IoT platform that goes far beyond conventional sensor applications.

By connecting sensors and reading light usage data, many new features are made available that offer customers real added value. The implemented mesh technology gives the system an intelligent backbone in both existing and new buildings for a variety of IoT applications.

Energy data monitoring, workplace management, predictive maintenance and motion heat maps are trend-setting product extensions and typically reduce existing operating costs by 75-90%. Thanks to this sensor-based solution, the lighting reacts dynamically to the use of the building with maximum energy efficiency.

Satisfied customer

"Digitalisation made easy. This guiding principle motivated us to create a unique system: SOLOBLU®. Wired building digitalisation with highly complex programming and addressing is a thing of the past. With SOLOBLU®, we are ushering in the future. A future in which buildings only consume the energy they absolutely need, with minimal use of hardware – because only when a building knows its usage can it actually save energy. SOLOBLU® is an intelligent network of sensors and actuators that allow any analogue building to be digitised and operating costs to be massively reduced."

Depending on the application, the sensors have either a circular 360° or rectangular detection area. The devices can be set up and grouped using wireless Bluetooth mesh communication, offering customers maximum flexibility. The specially developed IR lens, combined with the high-performance PIR sensor, guarantees maximum sensor performance.

✓ Light sensor & constant light control
Wireless communication via Bluetooth Mesh
✓ DALI compatible
✓ Group configuration via software for surfaces, rooms or the entire building
✓ User-defined lighting groups with configurable behaviour (up to 16 DALI-2 ECGs)

STEINEL multi-lens technology is reminiscent of a fly's compound eye. It provides seamless monitoring of a hemispherical detection zone and, as an optimum lens system for motion detectors with dual/triple sensor, covers detection angles of 180° to 360°.
