The acquisition of the Seica Pilot VX flying probe tester significantly expands STEINEL Solutions AG’s testing capabilities for electronic assemblies. The system enables highly flexible, adapter-free in-circuit and functional testing. Thanks to several movable probe heads, test points can be automatically located and electrical parameters such as resistances, capacitances, diodes, IC pins, as well as power supplies and signals, can be tested. Flash programming and functional tests can be integrated as optional features.
The key benefits include rapid product changeover without adapter costs, high testing accuracy, and suitability for prototypes, small and medium-volume production runs. In addition, the Pilot VX enables early fault detection during production, thereby reducing scrap and rework.
