Food 4.0 in the form of a smart lunchbox – The Steasy® is small and smart. STEINEL Solutions provides support for industrialisation, development and manufacturing.

STEINEL Solutions is supporting Nexenic AG, a start-up based in Winterthur, in the realisation of a product innovation.

The innovative young company has developed Steasy ®, the world's first battery-powered mini-steamer. Nexenic's LPS™ technology gently reheats precooked meals in just 15 minutes, while preserving flavour and nutrients to the best possible extent.

STEINEL Solutions' contribution to this success story includes not only the reworking of the electronics, the completion of the mechanical development and the review of the software, but also plastic injection moulding tools, punching tools, testing equipment and operating materials. The three characteristic colours are compounded with the transparent granules before the injection moulding process.
