The Wagner Group has set itself the goal of developing innovative technology for the application of cosmetic products. IONIQ SKINCARE was established as a spin-off from Wagner GmbH.
Working alongside experts in spraying and coating, the company developed ‘Ion Technology’, an electrostatic spraying technology that enables high-quality skincare products to be sprayed onto the skin – entirely without the use of propellant aerosols.
The IONIQ ONE Sprayeris an intelligent cosmetic device that can be used to apply a wide range of body care fluids and lotions evenly to the skin.
In the case of electrically charged liquid particles, the body acts as a counter-pole, which can help to ensure a uniform distribution of the particles. This facilitates the targeted and even application of the skincare product to the skin.
Products for sun protection, body care and tanning are currently available.
STEINEL Solutions developed the control electronics and the control/communication software. After several development loops, a production-ready electronic system was developed that fits perfectly into the sophisticated housing. The mass production of the products meets the defined quality requirements and confirms how important it is to ensure, right from the development stage and through to subsequent industrialisation, that the design is robust and that the correct raw materials are selected.
