Test equipment technology for precision angle encoder

STEINEL's expertise in electronics production, assembly and testing is used for hydropower plants and water supply.

Precision angle sensors for global hydro-infrastructure, Swiss-made – products that Rittmeyer can rely on at all times thanks to STEINEL's expertise in testing and calibration.

STEINEL Solutions developed the test equipment technology for its customer Rittmeyer AG, a specialist in measurement technology solutions for hydroelectric power plants and water management based in Baar, Canton of Zug, and assembles the device in Einsiedeln.

The calibration data is stored directly on the customer's server so that their customer service team has access to this information at all times.

The products are manufactured and stored at STEINEL Solutions. When an order is placed, the products are collected from the factory in Einsiedeln for onward dispatch.

The RIVERT and RIPOS HART absolute angle of rotation transmitters, a system for precise position and angle measurement, are suitable for a wide range of water management applications. The universal transducers RIPOS and RIVERT cover a wide range of applications for measuring angles, positions, distances or speeds of various structures, such as weirs, spherical valves, throttle valves, drawbridges, lock gates or travelling and slewing cranes.
