Models of collaboration
Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM)
In the field of Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM), we support the entire process from the initial product concept through to series production. We work with the customer to develop, industrialise and prepare products for production.
The scope of services can include development, procurement, quality management, product management and support throughout the entire product lifecycle. A particular focus is on the integration of sensor and communication technologies for connected products and IoT applications.
We provide support with development, industrialisation and product lifecycle management right through to series production.
Contract Manufacturing (CM)
In Contract Manufacturing (CM), we undertake the manufacture of products in accordance with the customer’s requirements and specifications. Product development and design remain the responsibility of the customer, whilst we ensure manufacturing, testing and the agreed traceability.
Depending on the project, our collaboration may cover individual manufacturing steps or the entire production process. If manufacturing requirements are taken into account as early as the development phase, manufacturability, quality and production costs can be optimised at an early stage.
The customer develops the product, we manufacture it to defined specifications.
